The Ontario Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks created the Safe Drinking Water Act. This Act defines the roles of owners, operators, and other persons who are involved in the delivery of drinking water.
Ontario Regulation 170/03 is the main guideline under the Safe Drinking Water Act. This regulation controls how the Township operates its drinking water system and provides safety requirements that must be met.
The Township is required to share a report of its drinking water system with the public each year.
If you have any questions about the reports above, please contact our Public Works Department. To learn more about how the Township manages the quality of its drinking water system, please refer to our Drinking Water Quality Management System Policy for details or visit our Water Quality page.
