The Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA) gives you the right to access municipal government records. MFIPPA requires that any personal information held by the Township of West Lincoln be protected.
The Township will make every effort to provide you with access to information. If the information is protected, we can't give you access to those records. For example, we would not provide access to someone else's personal information. In these cases, we will provide you with a reason for the decision. To make a formal request, please complete the Freedom of Information Request Form.
Please note that a fee of $5 is required to process your request. Please note there may be other costs associated with your request (e.g. photocopies).
For more information about MFIPPA or the Freedom of Information request process, please contact our Clerk's department at 905-957-3346 or by email.
