Babysitting Training - $75

Looking to get into the babysitting business? Then this is the course for you!

Learn the fundamentals of babysitting and safety in the home. Gain first-hand knowledge of caring for infants and children, accident prevention and safety, the business of babysitting and first aid from staff of SOS 4 Kids.

Cost includes instruction manual and certificate.

Please bring a lunch, drink, snack, pen and a large doll or teddy to practice on. No peanut or nut products please.

Suitable for ages 11 to 15

WHEN: Wednesday, March 13, 2024, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

WHERE: West Lincoln Community Centre, 177 West Street, Smithville

REGISTRATION: Registration opens at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, February 21, 2024

Online: Register online through Activenet (3% processing fee applies), create an online account and manage family members. Please note that Babysitting Training will not appear on Activenet until registration opens.

In-Person: Register at the West Lincoln Community Centre, 177 West Street, Smithville, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday to Friday, beginning at noon on February 21.

Home Alone Safety Course - $75

Empower children with confidence and skills to care for themselves when home alone.

Taught by the staff of SOS 4 Kids, this course includes street smarts, people safety, online safety, at home safety, home fire safety, injury prevention and basic first aid.

Cost includes, manual and certificate.

Please bring a lunch, drink, snack and pen. No peanut or nut products please.

Suitable for ages 9 to 12
