West Lincoln Strategic Plan Sets Priorities to Build, Champion, Enrich and Advance the Community

Township Council, at its June 26 meeting, has approved West Lincoln’s 2023-2026 Corporate Strategic Plan, setting the priorities and key strategies for the municipality for the next four years.
The Township of West Lincoln launched a review and update of its Corporate Strategic Plan in the Spring of this year in recognition of a new term of Council. The process included public feedback, consultations with key community members across all sectors, interviews with all Council members and senior management, along with Council training workshops.
Following extensive discussions, three overarching themes and one foundational theme emerged, supported by 20 key strategies, to guide decision making and investments for this term of Council. The four strategic priorities are:
- BUILD a safe, connected, caring and active community
- CHAMPION strategic and responsible growth
- ENRICH our strong agricultural legacy
- ADVANCE organizational capacity and effectiveness
As part of the refresh, the Township’s Vision, Mission and Values were also updated to reflect the Council and Staff’s direction moving forward.
