Update # 30 - West Lincoln Response to COVID-19 – Attendance at the WLCC is limited to Niagara Region Residents  

West Lincoln, Ont. – December 4, 2020

The Township of West Lincoln has implemented the practice of limiting attendance at the West Lincoln Community Centre to patrons living within the Niagara Region Public Health jurisdiction.  

 
Niagara Region Public Health (NRPH) has provided the following recommendations: 

• The Province recommends people from the hot zones do not move between regions. 
• NRPH supports any municipality implementing a policy to limit the access to facilities to residents of the Niagara Region only.

Mayor Bylsma stated, “West Lincoln has made the decision, supported by Niagara Region Public Heath, to restrict patrons to only Niagara Region residents for the next while in an effort to reduce the odds of even further restrictions under the Province’s COVID-19 Response Framework. Limiting attendance to local users is a temporary measure and we look forward to seeing those folks who enjoy our facility as soon as possible.”
