The results from West Lincoln’s 2024 Municipal By-election have been certified by the Township Clerk. Greg Maychak has been elected to serve as a Ward 3 Councillor for the remainder of the 2022-2026 term of Council. Maychak will be sworn into office at the November 25 Council meeting.

Ward 3 voters had three opportunities to cast their ballots, with two advance polls held on October 25 and 26 and By-election Day held on November 4. A total of 1,632 out of 5,878 eligible voters cast their ballots, three of which were spoiled. There were no declined or rejected ballots.
West Lincoln’s latest Ward 3 By-election saw a significant increase in turnout when compared to its last Ward 3 By-election, with 27.76% of voters casting ballots in 2024 compared to 16.54% in 2016. The Township would like to thank every Ward 3 voter who made the choice to participate in the democratic process.
