Arena and Walking Track Reopen to Public

Great news for West Lincoln Community Centre users: the walking track and arena areas have reopened to the public.

The areas were closed on Friday, October 18, due to a mechanical valve issue in the arena compressor room. The temporary closure was extended over the weekend after the delivery of replacement parts was delayed. This closure did not impact programming in the gymnasium, community rooms or West Lincoln Public Library Smithville Branch. Repairs were completed late in the evening on Monday, October 21, and normal facility operation resumed this morning.

The Township would like to thank members of the public for their patience and understanding and extend special gratitude to the West Niagara Minor Hockey Association for its cooperation.
