Know before you show: understanding the Township Sign By-law

West Lincoln is reminding residents, business owners and community groups that all signage, temporary or permanent, is subject to regulations under the Township’s Sign By-law.

Posting signs on public property in the Township of West Lincoln is prohibited. Signs posted on private property may require a permit, depending on size, location and distance from roadways and/or sidewalks.

Community Recognition Award nominations open July 1

Nominations to the Township of West Lincoln’s 2025 Community Recognition Awards will open on July 1 and run until September 8. Nominations will be accepted in the following categories:

• Sports/Recreation
• Cultural
• General Volunteerism
• Youth Community Engagement (15 and under)
• Lifetime Volunteerism
