Noxious weeds must be destroyed by June 17

Notice is hereby given to all persons in possession of land in accordance with the Weed Control Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter W.5, Section 3, 16 and 23 that, unless noxious weeds growing on their lands within the Municipality of the Township of West Lincoln are destroyed by the date of June 17, 2025, and throughout the season, the Municipality may enter upon the said lands and have the weeds destroyed, charging the costs against the land, as set out in the Act.

Victoria Day 2025 Holiday Hours

The Township of West Lincoln wishes the community a safe and happy May long weekend.

Please note that Township Administration, the West Lincoln Community Centre and West Lincoln Public Library will be closed on Monday, May 19, for the Victoria Day holiday.

Fireworks are only permitted in West Lincoln on Victoria Day, Canada Day and the 2 days before and after these holidays. Anyone planning to set off fireworks over the May long weekend is reminded to think about safety first. Learn more about
