The Township of West Lincoln’s annual Community Recognition Awards is back to honour residents of all ages. A total of 10 winners could be chosen according to 4 new categories:

• Cultural (3 age subcategories)
• Recreation/Sports (3 age subcategories)

June 7, 2024: Hamilton Health Sciences’ executive leadership team has advised that they will not be giving further consideration to renaming West Lincoln Memorial Hospital to West Niagara Memorial Hospital.

Over the past few months, the Township has been working closely with Lincoln and Grimsby to engage the public on the matter. At the April 22 Council meeting, West Lincoln Council voted to support the will of the community regarding the naming of the new hospital....

The Township of West Lincoln has launched a survey, asking community members to have their say about features they would like included in the new Leisureplex Playground.

Replacing the playground, located within the Leisureplex Township Park at 2543 South Grimsby Road 6, in Smithville, was approved as a capital project in 2024 with a total budget of $160,000.
