Secondary Plans for Former St Martins School and College Street School Sites

The Township of West Lincoln has retained MHBC Planning to provide consulting services for two former school sites within the Smithville Downtown, located at 132 College Street and 186 Margaret Street. MHBC has been selected to facilitate the future planning of the two sites by preparing conceptual redevelopment options that represent the development potential for both properties. The Township of West Lincoln is seeking the community’s input on the conceptual redevelopment options that have been prepared, as well as to offer the opportunity to share their vision on the future redevelopment of these two Downtown properties.

Through this link there are the initial redevelopment concepts prepared by MHBC. We are interested in understanding what you like and do not like about the concepts and would appreciate receiving your feedback on how you see the school sites being redeveloped in the future. This is your opportunity to share your ideas and vision for Downtown Smithville. Please note, there are currently no firm redevelopment plans proposed for the sites. These are simply conceptual and represent what could be achieved on the sites. We are simply looking to initiate discussion`s about the development potential for these two sites and to better understand the community’s vision for the properties.
