Economic Development Survey

As part of our new Corporate Strategic Plan, the Township of West Lincoln is committed to supporting our local businesses as they start, grow, and create employment opportunities for residents.

As a Township, our goal is to create a strong brand for West Lincoln that supports our local businesses and attracts new industries. We want to create an environment where it is easy to do business and where there are more opportunities to work in our community, all while creating connected infrastructure and respecting our rural and small town roots.

We’ve heard from our local business community on what we need to do: streamline approval processes; better connect West Lincoln to highways and markets; support entrepreneurs as they start and grow their businesses; offer attractive, serviced employment lands; strategically attract new industries that are aligned to our local workforce; and continue to support agriculture as our largest local sector.

We invite you to provide your feedback through our online survey:

Thank you for your participation. While the Township plays only a small role in our community’s economic prosperity, we know great things are possible when we work together. Your comments will help to refresh our economic development strategy and determine meaningful, short term actions to build capacity and connections in West Lincoln.

A report to Council will be presented before spring 2020.
