WestLincoln.ca has been redesigned to be accessible to the widest audience possible. It is compatible with popular screen reading software, and can be fully navigated with a keyboard. The site also contains some additional features that can make the website easier to read.
Every page contains a menu found on the left of the screen that offers a variety of different options in order to make our website easier to read. By clicking on the buttons, you can increase the contrast of the site (black background with white text), enlarge the font, or both.
WestLincoln.ca also features a “skip to content” link on every page, which allow users to skip right to the main content of the page. This becomes especially useful to those with screen readers so that they can skip the lengthy navigation menus every time they view a new page.
